HUREAULITE    Parker Mtn. Mine, Center Strafford, NH
Clear (slightly pink), prismatic, hureaulite crystals to 0.7 mm

Species:           HUREAULITE
Locality:          Parker Mtn. Mine, Center Strafford, NH
Specimen Size: Clear (slightly pink), prismatic, hureaulite crystals to 0.7 mm
Field Collected: Gene Bearss - 1979

Notes: Photo from Helicon stack of 21 images. These micro crystals are exceptional under a stereo scope. With their high luster and low background contrast, this photo is the best I could achieve with this specimen.

HUREAULITE    E.E. Smith Mine, Alexanderia, NH
Zoom view

Species:           HUREAULITE
Locality:          E.E. Smith Mine, Alexanderia, NH
Specimen Size: The upper right quadrant xl is 0.5 mm
Field Collected: Bob Wilken
Catalog No.: A Bob Wilken specimen
Notes: [bw] Top view is a general view showing several masses. Unfortunately it's difficult to determine any xl consistency. This is a deceptive photo because of the loss of 3-D. The 0.5 mm xl is fairly deep in the vug whereas the other masses are higher up on the surface. The same small xl is much clearer and distinct in the zoom view photo.
